The Contracts Supervisor - Rock Tools is responsibility for leadership, contracts supervision, EHS compliance, stock management, customer invoicing and reporting, customer service, customer relationships and compliance with customer requirements for the Golden Grove site.

This role involves working an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth, 12 hour days working at the Golden Grove site, Western Australia.

Key performance areas
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role of the Contracts Supervisor - Rock Tools will be responsible to provide day to day supervision of the activities of the Rock Tools contract on site.

Adhere to all Sandvik policies & procedures especially the EHS, Anti-Corruption and Bribery policies
Responsibility for all logistic requirements such as customer stock levels, Sandvik stock levels, forecasting, stock taking, stock reconciliation and stock turns
data entry, reconciliation & reporting when required
Inventory management
Ensure all end-of-month stock taking and Invoicing requirements are completed
Raise and approve purchase order requisitions
Daily direction and supervision of Rock Tool Technicians
Provide technical knowledge, support and guidance to direct reports and key stakeholders.
Regularly check stock levels & communicate findings to the Contract Manager.
Attend customer meetings as required.
Monitor and manage contract performance and costs
Cost manage all expenditure including capital and general running costs to successfully fulfil our service agreement with our client.
Provide customer reports and presentations

Your profile
As a minimum requirement you will have a qualification in Mining Engineering or Project Management.

The successful candidate will have experience in underground mining equipment and extensive knowledge and experience with Sandvik product range (Top hammer, DTH) and refurbishment of Rock Tools.

Additionally, you will have exposure to safety management systems employed by major mining / maintenance organisations.

You will also possess:

Supervisory experience in a workshop environment.
Excellent record keeping ability.
Sound time management and organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A sound understanding of the mining industry and its business processes.
Understanding of Mine Health and Safety Regulations
High level of computer literacy with an understanding of ERP and service system/s
You must hold a valid Australian drivers licence.
A valid forklift licence will be considered an advantage
