[Company] is seeking a team player who would like to be involved in groundwater and surface water projects and who would like to gain exposure to diverse markets and business environments. This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in the field as well as in the office. This position will have opportunity for growth in responsibility with significant opportunities for professional development. In this position, you will be contributing to a technical team of geologists, hydrologists, geochemists, engineers, and GIS analysts. As part of the team, you will be expected to collect, manage and analyze data, author reports, develop presentations, and contribute to the scientific approaches that [Company] develops and delivers. This will include implementing highly technical work plans or studies for complex technical projects, leading teams of technical personnel in the performance of field programs and office-base studies, and providing subject matter expertise to project managers on a variety of water resources projects.

Required Education and Skills

Current enrollment in 4 year college or university and
Working towards a master’s degree in Geology or related field;
Minimum 3.75 GPA for consideration;
Transcripts required.
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills;
Strong customer focus and a team player;
Possess good time management skills;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; and
Eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship upon graduation.
Experience working with well data and geophysical logs
The ability to work independently to complete technical work

Desired Education and Skills

Field geology/hydrogeology experience, cuttings/core logging, geophysical logging, water well and monitor well design, construction and installation
Experience with Petra or other geophysical log analysis software
Experience analyzing/manipulating data with a scripting language, such as Python or R
Experience with groundwater modeling for flow and/or transport
Experience analyzing geologic, geospatial and hydrogeologic data
Assisted with hydrogeologic assessments and dewatering plans for mining operations.
Experience with ArcGIS
Experience with MODFLOW
Experience writing technical reports and creating maps and figures
Experience conducting field investigations and equipment installations
Experience performing statistical analysis of recharge and precipitation data
Knowledge of water management infrastructure, water quality, monitoring, and water rights
