[Company] currently has three portfolio companies—[Company] (St. Louis, MO; legacy business), Delavau (Philadelphia, PA; acquired 2012), and Tru-Flex (West Lebanon, IN; acquired 2013) Position Summary: The position will support activities related to the [Company] Deal Origination function through direction of the Manager of Deal Origination. Activities will include providing support and coordination of departmental functions. The position will assist the Manager of Deal Origination, Manager of Corporate Development, and the Business Associates.

Essential Skills & Experience Required: The position requires a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of operations support experience in a corporate executive level environment. The individual must be capable of handling large volumes of information in a confidential and professional manner. Excellent organizational skills as well as advanced computer skills with Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Word, and proficient at using resources on the Internet.

Essential Functions of Position:

At the direction of the Deal Origination Manager, the position will prepare and distribute marketing materials including periodic marketing emails, tear sheets, targeted correspondence, etc.
Update and keep current the HBM internet site to include news and press releases, relevant social media, and other company networking and investment criteria materials.
Become the subject matter expert on DealCloud and update it with contact information, reminder notifications, acquisition transaction and due diligence data. Schedule and coordinate follow-up meetings and/or calls. Track acquisitions passed/declined and schedule follow-up calls to monitor progress, etc. Coordinate with software supplier to implement upgrades and enhanced features.
Supports the Deal Origination Manager by coordinating meetings and travel schedules, telephone coverage, preparations of documents and correspondence, communications (both internally and externally), and mail, etc. Schedule and coordinate ACG and other networking trips.
Will support the Manager of Corporate Development and Business Associates to include coordinating travel schedules, recruiting activities, and preparations of documents and correspondence.
Basic internet research and/or data entry in support of M&A or internal consulting projects
Assist in management of due diligence teams on transactions that have moved to the letter of intent stage.
